Biography

I am currently an Associate Professor in the School of Artificial Intelligence at DUT. Before that, I worked as a Senior Research Engineer in Noah' Ark Lab in Huawei with Prof. Qi Tian and Prof. Jianzhuang Liu. I received my Ph.D degree from PSI/VISICS group of KU Leuven under the supervision of Prof. Tinne Tuytelaars and Prof. Luc Van Gool in 2018 and had the opportunity to work with Prof. Efstratios Gavves and Dr. Basura Fernando. I obtained both my Master and Bachelor degree from Dalian University of Technology. I was supervised by Prof. Huchuan Lu and had the opportunity to work with Prof. Ming-Hsuan Yang. My current research focuses on computer vision, digital image processing and machine learning, specifically on image/video enhancement, image/video generation, domain adaptation, unsupervised/semi-supervised learning, and bio-inspired vision system.
